London’s a winter wonderland
17 12 2008The Christmas markets in Hyde Park are a fabulously almost-kitsch hybrid between temporary mini theme park and Anglecised Weihnachtsmarkt.
But having said that, the lights are lovely, and they make for a good photography subject. Here are some of the photos I took on the weekend:

Dubai – Vegas in the East
15 09 2008We were in Dubai for a long weekend in early June with a view to potentially moving there … this was the view from the hotel bar’s patio; the lights are a bit more diffuse than normal, as we were there during a sand storm.
