My first magazine cover published

13 12 2010

I was given an early Christmas present last week, when the editorial team of Vine Kensington and Chelsea magazine chose to feature one of my photographs as their December cover.

The digital edition of the magazine is now available online.

The image chosen was my photograph of the snow-dusted statue of William of Orange within the grounds of Kensington Palace.

Snow in London – part 2

2 02 2009

To follow on from my previous post (Snow in London), here are some of the photos that I took today while ‘playing tourist’ in London. Well, I thought I may as well, since it seems that when more than a dusting of snow falls in the south-east of the UK and almost all public transport grinds to a standstill.

And we’ve not seen the last of it either – as I type / compose this post, I’m watching ever more big, fat snowflakes add themselves to the city’s new winter blanket.

Snow in London

2 02 2009

London’s currently enjoying a ‘Russian period’, and we’re enjoying (well, some of us are) the results of a little bit of hijacked Russian winter weather. So just when I thought I’d probably seen the last of ‘my’ snow of the winter, a whole lot has come to visit me :)

These photos are from last night, Sunday 1 February.
